Bodymatters by Leah is a successful and busy practice in the heart of Broadstone in Dorset

established now for over 6 years.

I trained in Holistic Massage initially and really enjoyed helping people unwind and relax and talking

with people, making them feel comfortable and at ease.

As with most therapies, you can get excited about learning more and naturally the next course for me

to take was sports massage enabling me to add to my skills and techniques and help people further.

Whilst training and building my practice I continued to study and learn new tools. I next went on and

completed a beauty course as I liked the thought of being diverse and offering this service also.

I wanted to know more about this ‘energy’ I was feeling the more I came in to contact with people. This led me to find out about Reiki and study and learn this also. I have always been a voracious reader and satisfy my need for knowledge by reading and attending workshops and meeting people of like mind. Of course my best teachers have been my clients and through experience and results, I have come to a new understanding of what makes people tick and how best to suit the individual.

My most recent addition to my practice is KORE therapy, which has given me a great deal of tools to add to my existing ones and this has enabled me to feel even more confident in my abilities as a therapist. I am able to intuitively design a treatment for the individual in front of me, with some wonderful and sometimes unexplainable results.

My interest in the spiritual, the mind/body connection and empowerment process has also led me to evolve very naturally as a spiritual life coach, enabling people to find their power, move forward and unlock their inner wisdom and potential.

I love being with people, inspiring and facilitating them in positive change and better health.

I have recently set up a group once a month that I hold in my home called ‘Holistic Living’. I had the need and urge to reach more people at one time, with benefits for everyone.
